Health tourism is when someone travels to another country to use their countries health service rather than their own. This may be due to cost or that another country has more research and development in a certain procedure or medicine. For example, Americans travel to England to use the NHS, our free health service as they have to pay for their health care. Health tourism mixes the pursuit of better health care practices and learning new cultures and environments. 

An example of health tourism would be if someone was to travel to Turkey as they are said to be the best at transforming somebodies body whether it be teeth, weight or even height. The most common procedures would be what people call 'Turkey Teeth' or liposuction.
